'Unless otherwise described the following 18th-century dwellings are of two storeys, or single-storied with attics, and have walls of rubble, flint, brick and cob, and thatched roofs. They are distributed along the Winterborne brook to the W., and in the village street to the S. and N. of the church. . . . (7) Cottage (83020440), 60 yds. W. of (6), is of two bays, with a central doorway to the S. and one chimneystack to the E.'
