'The following monuments unless otherwise described are of one storey and attics or two storeys, with walls of cob or stone and thatched roofs, and of the late 18th or early 19th century. … (18) Cottage, at Little Mayne (723871) … The Barn S.W. of Little Mayne Farmhouse, originally of rubble was partly rebuilt in brick and reroofed in the 19th century. It has two gabled porches and flush doorways opposite to them.’
