Summary

Two houses of three storeys, but originally of two storeys and attics, were built as a single house in the mid 18th century. The ground floor windows had flat arches of gauged brick with ogee sinkings; the jambs and quoins in a brick of deeper colour than the rest of the walling. The plan, which originally comprised two principal rooms with a staircase hall between, was modified by late 19th century alterations. Demolished before 1970.

‘(307) HOUSES, Nos. 26, 28, of three storeys but originally two storeys and attics, were built as a single house in the mid 18th century. The ground-floor windows have flat arches of gauged brick with ogee sinkings; the jambs and quoins are in a brick of deeper colour than the rest of the walling. The plan, which originally comprised two principal rooms with a staircase hall between, has been modified by late 19th-century alterations. (Demolished).’
