Full Description

Some evidence for Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age activity was recorded during excavations by Wessex Archaeology on the former James Brothers site, Blandford Road, Hamworthy in 2008-9. Two short lengths of gully, cut by later features produced some Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age pottery. Not enough of these features survived to be able to characterise the nature and extent of this activity.
