Full Description

An open rope walk shown on the 1751 Sir Peter Thompson map and the 1774 Hutchins map. It ran along the south shore of the Hamworthy peninsula. (1) (2)

It is marked as 'Mr Carter's Rope Walks' on a 1790 map. (3)
