A complete bronze brooch, said to be from Wallisdown Road is now in Poole Museum. The brooch is of 2nd- or 3rd-century disc type. (1)

A complete bronze brooch, said to be from Wallisdown Road (SZ 049949 to SZ 077937 area) is now in the Poole Museums collection. There have been road works recently in the area adjacent to the Dorset Institute of Higher Education (SZ 0794 approx.). The brooch is of 2nd- or 3rd-century disc type and is very similar to one from Woodeaton (Collingwood and Richmond 1971, 291).
