Full Description

The National Trust excavated two evaluation trenches to the south of Bishop's Court Farm house in 2007, which revealed evidence of an earlier garden layout, probably 18th century or later. This was done in advance of the renewal of the drainage at Bishop's Court Farm. Further garden features were found during a subsequent watching brief. A single unstratified medieval ridge tile was recovered.
