Full Description
A Baptist chapel built in 1839 , but reportedly defective in construction, was rebuilt in Romanesque style in 1858-9. The walls are of rock-faced stone. The gabled front wall is surmounted by an empty bell-cote and has a central porch flanked by windows with intersecting arcaded tracery. A new chapel was built alongside in 1892, and this chapel demolished by 1991. <2>
