‘Unless otherwise described the following monuments are of the 18th century and are of two storeys with rubble walls and tiled roofs. … Monuments of the first half of the 19th century noted in Walton Elm are as follows: A Cottage (77821769), built c. 1840, incorporates a reset porch with octagonal stone columns and a moulded stone architrave;’
