<1> Royal Commission on Historic Monuments, 1970, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume III (Central) Part 2, 157 (Monograph). SDO136.
‘Unless otherwise described the following monuments are of the 18th century and are of two storeys with rubble walls and tiled roofs. … (29) Barn (77481746) at Yardgrove Farm has a tiled roof with stone-slate verges. It is of the late 18th century and dated scratchings on the walls go back to 1802. The farmhouse is of the later 19th century.’
