‘Unless otherwise described the following are two-storeyed 18th-century cottages, with rubble walls and thatched roofs. … (14) Cottage (79332150), formerly the Royal Oak Inn, is of early 18th-century origin. The gabled N. and S. end walls contain large open fireplaces, and several rooms have deeply chamfered beams.’
