Mid eighteenth century house in early Georgian style, incorporating slightly earlier fragments at rear. Flemish bond brickwork with stone dressings, fragments of early seventeenth century stone and brick walling to rear, brick gable stacks and slate roof.

Full Description

No 2 St. James's Close (West End House), Grade 2*. Two storeys, of red brick with white stone dressings and a slate roof, of early 18th century date <3>.

It is a mid-18th century merchant's house and incorporates fragments of a slightly earlier building to the north <2>. <2-3>
