Full Description

A Quarry shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1885. The feature is visible on Environment Agency lidar imagery, where it is clearly larger than that shown on the OS 1885 map, having extended northwards to form an extended oval hollow over 72m long by up to 48m wide [2].

The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
