Full Description
Lime kiln, recorded by DCC SMR, but not seen on Historic OS mapping or entered in the Dorset Lime kiln Survey. The only Lime kiln recorded in Symondsbury is at West Cliff, lying on Forest Marble Geology. (1)
The site of the kiln is visible a low walls on aerial photographs (2) and was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
