<1> Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (England), 1970, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume II (South East) Part 2 (Monograph). SDO149.

‘(7) House, The Thatchery (170 yds. W.), has rubble walls banded in the lower parts with flint, and thatched roof. The house is of the 18th century, but the flint banding may indicate that the lower parts of the walls are earlier.’
