Summary

A probable bowl barrow close to the parish boundary. In 1952 this monument was reported as being around 45 feet in diameter with a mound about 1½ feet high. A possible ring ditch visible as a cropmark at this location on a 1945 aerial photograph may be this feature. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description

A possible ring ditch visible as a cropmark at this location on a 1945 aerial photograph may be this feature (2). The possible ring ditch is very faint but appears to be approximately 18.7 m in diameter. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project. It may also be visible as a faint cropmark on 2005 Google Earth imagery (3).
