Full Description
Cultivation ridges within the field are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs, and partly surviving on current Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
Several orchard trees are also still visible within the field on 1940s aerial photographs (RAF 1947).
