Full Description
A shallow square hollow, 18m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the north side of Merry Hill {1}. It is considered likely to be an extractive pit of post medieval origin. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
