Full Description
Two small pits are visible on aerial photographs above Chesil beach to the south-east of Castle Beach Cottage {1}. They may be post medieval or modern extractive pits or relate to WWII military activity. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
