Full Description
Two sets of four structures, each set in a square formation, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1946 on Chesters Hill {1-2}. They are considered to be of military origin dating to WWII, possibly the footings of two radio masts. They are situated within the Abbotsbury Defence which was defended by the 6th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
