Full Description

A double line of small structures, possibly anti-tank blocks or dragons teeth, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Chesters Hill {1}. They are considered to be of military origin dating to WWII and are situated within the Abbotsbury Defence which was defended by the 6th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
