Full Description
A deep-sided trench 5m wide and roughly 6km long is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs {1,2}. It is considered likely to be part of World War Two coastal defences on Chesil Beach. The site was digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping project.
