Full Description
A curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs {1-2} and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. Its date and function are uncertain. It is adjacent to the site of a neolithic long barrow (MDO2040) and may be a feature related to this. Alternatively it could be the remains of an outer bank surrounding a post medieval dew pond.
