Parallel ditch and banked features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south-west of Stone Heaps Plantation {1}. They are considered to be the remains of strip fields or cultivation marks on medieval or later origin. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
