Full Description

A group of chalk pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Middle Farm, Buckland Ripers {1-2}. They are associated with the lime kiln described in MDO25705 and are considered to be post medieval in date. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
