Extractive pits or quarries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs |{1} to either side of Bramdon Lane. They are considered to be post medieval in date and are probably associated with the lime kiln described in MDO54. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
