Full Description
(SY 6140 8330. Medieval strip lynchets occur on the north side of Rodden Ridge. <1>
A series of parallel field banks forming an extensive medieval strip field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the northern slopes of Rodden Ridge <2>. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
