Full Description

A circular bank is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs {1} and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. It measures approximately 1.5m wide and 19.5m in diameter. The date and function of this feature are uncertain; it is possible that it is a prehistoric enclosure. Alternatively it may be a reversed cropmark of a ring ditch related to a Bronze Age barrow.
