A bowl barrow. In 1952 this monument was described as being around 52 feet in diameter with a mound about 5½ feet high.

Full Description

(SY 64929604) Tumulus (NR). (1)

A bowl barrow, 52 feet diameter and 5.5 feet high situated 50 yards northeast of Jackman's Cross. (2-3)

A grass covered bowl barrow, 16 metres in diameter and 1.7 metres high with a large central excavation dug in from the east. A vague ditch surrounds the mound. (4)

"SY 648963. Three round barrows NE of Jackman's Cross" are scheduled according to DOE. The barrow at SY 64929604 (see above) is definitely one of them and the barrow in Coronation Plantation (see SY 69 NE 34) is presumably another. A third barrow cannot be traced. (5)

Bowl barrow in Jackman's Plantation at SY 64919603: as described by Authority (4) excepting that it is now 18 metres in diameter and 1.7 metres high with no visible ditch.
