Monument record MDO25248 - Extractive pits, Rew Hill, Winterborne St Martin

A group of pits are visible as cropmarks and low earthworks on aerial photographs and LIDAR. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval extractive pits. Located within the area of the Winterbourne Abbas Corridor Geophysical Suvey in 2017 (EDO7852) but unclear if detected.

A group of pits are visible as cropmarks and low earthworks on aerial photographs {1-3} and LIDAR {4}. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval extractive pits. These features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Located within the area of the Winterbourne Abbas Corridor Geophysical Suvey in 2017 (EDO7852) but unclear if detected within field 57D. This field was only partially surveyed due to the steepness of the field and that portion of the field surveyed included dense magnetic anomalies that were difficult to interpret.
