Full Description
A subsoil feature and surface finds became visible after topsoil removal (Site 615). Investigation revealed a trench aligned east west over 2m wide and 0.8m deep, and cut by a slightly deeper V-shaped cut to the north. Fourteen pieces of pottery were recovered from this feature, most of them Romano-British, though a few sherds of medieval pottery were found in the uppermost layer. (1)
