Full Description
A rapid examination of air photography suggests the presence of at least five rectangular enclosures … There is also a double linear feature running east-west across the south of the field. The features are of unknown date and are visible as cropmarks. <1-2>
Parallel linear ditches running E-W are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <3>. They are considered likely to be the remains of a field system of uncertain date. The site was digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
