Full Description

(Centred at SY 69258325) Cultivation strips situated on a steep hillside and under pasture. Vaguely parallel
though forming no set pattern. Banks up to 4.0m high and tillable width average 6.0m weaker lynchets and field banks exist under pasture in the south and west. <1>

Cement-stone outcrops in the faces of the risers at the foot of 'Tout' (centred at SY 692834 on plan) suggest artificial construction of the strip lynchets. <2>

Centred at SY 69258325 strip lynchets as described by authority 1 and 2. They form a prominent feature on this S facing hill-slope. <3>
