Summary

A series of parallel ditches running along the southern foot of Hog Hill from Cowleaze to Ashton Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. They are considered likely to be the remains of post medieval water meadows. The site was digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
