Full Description
'B' - Flat topped bowl barrow, 18.0m diameter and 1.3m high. The ditch on the south and east quadrant is 5.0m wide and 0.4m deep. <2>
'B' - (17) - SY 70969441. Bowl barrow, 58ft diameter and 4ft high lies on the summit of a ridge on a south west slope. The ditch is most clearly marked on the east side. <4>
'B' SY 70969441: ploughed down bowl barrow, diameter 21.0m., height 1.0m. The ditch is no longer visible. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>
A Bronze Age barrow is located at the West end of Waterston Ridge. It is one of three barrows, all of which are scheduled. It is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. <6-7>

‘(17) Bowl (70979441), 340 yds. E. of (16), lies near the summit of a ridge, over 400 ft. above O.D. on a S.W. slope. The ditch is most clearly marked on the E. side. Diam. 58 ft., ht. 4 ft.’
