Summary

Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow, visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. In 1970 this monument was recorded as being around 70 feet in diameter with a mound about 1 foot high.

Full Description

'A' - Very spread bowl barrow, 24.0m diameter and 0.3m high. <2>

'A' SY 70659440, ploughed to a vague and unsurveyable swelling. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>

Barrow `A' is now crossed by a hedge and a track and has been almost obliterated. It is not recommended for scheduling. Ground photo with archive report. <6>
