A linear extractive pit with associated ditch (possibly a trackway) is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Jone's Hole {1}. The features are considered to be post medieval in origin although an earlier medieval date is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
