Full Description

Four rectilinear enclosures are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of the Playing Field at Littlemoor {1}. They range in size from 9 to 11m in width and 15 to 35 m in length and are generally defined by a ditch with outer bank. They are considered to be post medieval or modern in date, possibly animal enclosures or of military origin. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
