Full Description
A group of eleven small pits, ranging in size from 6m to 21m diameter, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1}. They are likely to be the remains of agricultural extractive pits, of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgewa Mapping Project.
