‘An arrowhead from Burton Bradstock. A small Neolithic arrowhead of mottled dark grey chert, found by him in 1956 at a depth of about 18 inches in the cliff edge between Burton Bradstock and Freshwater (SY 4889), has been given to the museum by Mr. G. J. S. Rose (1957.11). It is roughly leaf-shaped or lozenge form, a little over 1 in. long and half in. broad, although a sharper point may have been anciently broken and retrimmed. Near the base a small trimmed notch may have been intended to assist attachment to the shaft.’
