An irregular series of ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the vicinity of the electricity sub-station, Putton {1}. They are likely to be drainage features and field boundaries of uncertain date although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
