Full Description

Two near circular depressions, 18-19m across, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs {1} to the north-east of New Look House, Radipole. They are considered likely to be the sites of two WWII bomb craters although an earlier extractive origin cannot be ruled out. The site is one of a number of bomb crater sites in the vicinity of Weymouth. They were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
