Full Description

The remains of a Napoleonic coastal signal station partially excavated by the National Trust in 1992. A building platform had been cur into the top of an earlier earthwork and had been covered in layers of sand and chert. Post-medieval and nineteenth century finds comprised pottery, glass and iron objects. (1)
