Summary

Full Description

A mound, 11.3 meters in diameter, is visible as an earthwork and a cropmark on aerial photographs {1-3} and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. The date and function of this feature are uncertain; it is possible that it is the remains of a Bronze Age barrow associated with the Big Wood barrow cemetery.
