Full Description

Parallel banks, possibly medieval strip lynchets, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of John Beer's Cottage, Poxwell {1}. The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project and lie adjacent to (and may be contemporary with) the celtic field system described in MDO2169.
