Full Description
A series of chalk pit and quarries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs within the combe to the north of Osmington {1-4}. Most are marked on the OS 1st edition map and are associated with the site of a lime kiln (MDO1841 and MDO21773). The features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
