Full Description

Near the church was COURT HOUSE, and in a meadow close to the church "are signs of fish-ponds..." <1>

This pond is a roughly semicircular depression, measuring 27.0 m front E - W., and 30.0 m. from N - S. The pond is marshy at the bottom, and is 1.5m. deep. On the S. side is a bank 3.0m wide and 0.3m. high. The pond is not fed by a stream, and its authenticity as a fish-pond could not be fully confirmed. <3>
