Full Description

The probable site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible on aerial photographs {1}. The low earthwork mound is 12m across and lies within the West Hill Group of scheduled monuments. It had not been previously identified prior being digitally mapped during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
