Full Description

Two small circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on West Hill {1}. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits although they may alternatively be modern bomb craters dating to WWII being very circular in shape. The two features were digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
