Full Description
A sub-square banked enclosure, 15m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the north of Castle Hill Cottages. It is similar to the enclosure to the south-west of Abottsbury Castle which is described in MDOP24197. It is of uncertain date and may be later prehistoric, medieval or post medieval origin. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
